For a potato processor in Romania, Taneco supplied a complete treatment solution consisting of a mud separator, drum filter, Linatex pump and polymer dosing unit.

The Mudseparator is equipped with lamella plates that create calm water flow, enabling efficient separation of sludge and solids. Pressure sensors at the bottom of the cone continuously measure the pressure differential inside the installation. Based on these measurements, the automatic discharge valve opens independently, ensuring controlled and reliable sludge removal. The addition of polymer further optimises the performance of the Mudseparator.

This integrated setup provides a stable process and consistent water quality within the potato processing operation.
