Potato Processor in France

For a large-scale potato processor in France, Taneco supplied a water treatment installation with a capacity of 300 m³/hour. The processing line handles up to 200 tons of potatoes per hour, for which a robust and scalable purification solution was developed.

The installation consists of three interconnected treatment lines, which together ensure a continuous and balanced purification process. Within these lines, sand is removed from the wash water by means of Linatex-lined pumps and cyclones, designed to withstand the high abrasive load of potato soil.

Lamella filters subsequently provide efficient removal of suspended solids. The thickened sludge is then dewatered using chamber filter presses, resulting in a minimal amount of dry solids and very limited sludge disposal.

This integrated approach enables reliable reuse of wash water and supports a stable and sustainable production process.
